Paco Villetard

20 years understanding how systems work and can be exploited. Started at 12, never stopped.

It started with a Korean MMORPG. Unencrypted network traffic, a packet sniffer, and a teleportation exploit written by a kid. A kid who now had a character farming at speed light and didn't even know what it was called "cybersecurity". By 13 he was reverse engineering malware. By 15, competing in capture-the-flag competitions. By 16, running online businesses that earned more than most adults around him.

He never took the traditional route. No degree, no corporate career, no interest in specializing when every system was worth understanding. He learned by obsessing over networks, binaries, protocols, exploits, and the gaps between how systems are designed and how they actually behave.

At Ctrl+G, Paco leads all technical work, security benchmarks built on real CVEs, reinforcement learning environments that teach models to reason about vulnerabilities, autonomous security agents, and the infrastructure that makes it all reproducible. 20 years of understanding how systems break.

He was one of the first serious adopters of AI-assisted coding. It fit how he already thought: deep technical knowledge with no engineering orthodoxy to protect. AI unlocked everything.

Paco is currently writing a book on coding with AI for a major French publisher. He drives fast cars on racetracks, is learning to fly planes, and is based in San Francisco.
